Video: Life in Turks and Caicos

We've been down here since Saturday. Despite the daily outburst from each child, all is wonderful in paradise. We're spending the days playing on the beach, golfing, eating, taking naps and, when necessary, keeping up with work. It's a life I can get used to.

The big hit this trip is the his and his kid life jackets. Myles and Cole are self-sufficient in both the ocean and the pool. So pending any random shark attacks, they'll be safe. That's more than can be said of yours truly.

I played golf with Cole today. Myles didn't want to go. It was Cole's first time out on the course. He rode in the cart and putted on each green. Hole 3 I hit my approach 20 yards short. Heavy air, at sea level, not getting a ton of distance. I ask Cole if he thinks I'll chip in. He says yes. I chip in. He now thinks chipping in from 20 yards is a common occurance.

I shot this video today while standing in the ocean outside the house. The quality isn't amazing (the video, not the ocean). I took it with my Pure Digital FlipVideo camcorder. It has a built in USB connection that makes it easy to hook up to my laptop. Given I left all my other cords in NYC, it's the best I can do.

Enjoy!
